RUN DMC looked pretty damn good yesterday, not

Really depends if they offer and how serious he is about track... if he thinks he can run track there it's a no brainer well at least for a lot of people it would be

Don't expect Oregon to recruit him for track.

If he can get 5-6 carries per then play him, I just hate the skiddish use of frosh running backs, play the kid, commit to using him work through a few growing pains or RS the kid. make a gd decision and stick to it, worse than my 9 year old daugher when it comes to sports she wants to play

I say RUN DMC, he may help on specials too this year and thefore may be worth burning the shirt. He seems to be a versatile athlete although Morris seems to have more upside from what is being tossed around

What they did with AAM last year was a disaster, Just my opinion
Agree about AAM - 12 snaps and 40 yards for a year of eligibility. Not worth it (part of this was that he was nicked up... but still).

If we ever get to where we want to be, we don't redshirt most or all the kids. The very best teams play their top frosh, not redshirt them. Top players don't want to redshirt and it plays into recruiting the best HS kids. You recruit over kids. It's a fallacy that being able to redshirt most everyone, especially at a position like RB, means you have "made it". It's the "why" you don't redshirt kids, not the fact that you don't.

I agree that there are certain talents you just don't redshirt. But it would be nice if we had the luxury of redshirting some guys to build depth.

If you can you RS a running back who is 30 pounds too heavy

bad for two days out of the gate, I think they made a nice move here, red shirt the kid and Morris is he isn't going to get 5-6 carries a game. Wish AAM had been red shirted

Devante?

Redshirt who?
