Run game flaw

The OL is real close to becoming a solid unit. The main problem imho is the tackles are leaving the backside DE unblocked he's crashing down and blowing up the play before it can get started. When the OT seals the backside DE on run plays the offense has nice, positive yardage almost every time. These guys are above average pass blockers so once this issue is fixed, I believe the offense will be explosive. Also, Kendall Moore is a beast. He's a dominating blocker

unfortunately the play is designed to account for the backside DE with the read option. I say unfortunately because Allen will hand the ball off every time because he can't run the read option. It's also unfortunate that we continue to run it with him in the game. We really excelled last year running the inside zone. It is an extremely simple, but effective play and we have a couple of backs who can be very productive. Good coaches make adjustments, and we see changes moving forward
