Yes, but that has nothing to do with the fact that the Orange bowl sent him to represent the bowl because he is the chairman. He didn't come as a casual fan. He was there as an official representative from the Orange Bowl.

I don't get why representatives from BCS bowls even travel anymore. Their choices are quite limited as to who they can choose in their games.

I'll miss Rutgers. I can't see us creating this type of rivalry with any ACC team. Not Maryland. BC fans have lost interest in their program. And Pitt has never been much of a rival. Wake? NC State? Florida State? Just don't see it.

Rivals are not internet products, rivals are made in the arena of competition, we are not rivals with Rutgers and because some enjoy internet banter does not change that. Their objective is to be us. We have no desire to be them.

In RU's "illustrious" history they have played in 7 bowl games ... 7!

Of them, one was the New Jersey Bowl and another was in Canada.

wish i was going would be at johnson park at 0900!! rented a house on owasco for 10/13--10/20 (use to be joe bidens summer camp)the wife is very mad at me, she is an ru fan first su second--i am the opposite. thought i would catch fingerlakes color but per my brother i will be a week late!!!!! well anyway saw some when i was up for the pitt game ---all is not lost----camp i have will get the game---but i will tape the first half --if the weather is good i will be canoeing with son,daughter and their spouses.

He looked like LeGrand did right after he went down. Was so happy when he moved around...

Eric is doing well. Continues to live his life and work hard. Just finished a book about his experience and is working at becoming a sports broadcaster. Had the pleasure to meet him a few times. Very inspiring individual.

We have outscored teams after halftime by a large amount this year. Barely would occur in the past. Very happy with the way this coaching staff is handling things during games under Floood. Schiano was very good at many things college coaches have to do but halftime adjustments weren't one of them!
