Rutgers is going to be a handful

Rutgers blows, BUT the crowd will sure be rowdy (including us Syracuse fans that will be there.) After their 2 Top 10 upsets, they'll be coming in expecting a game against the #1 team in the nation (or whatever we're ranked at that time.)

on any given night, the stars can be aligned.

I hope to be leading the "Let's go Orange" chant at the RAC

If Rutgers was a car it would be this

We will be -12 in their home gym. Vegas doesn't think they'll be a handful.

rutgers blows
sorry bees but that is precisley the attitude that was taken toward them near the end of pp era.schiano started reruiting better, and we remained arrogant.look where that got us.i warned way back then we had a head in the sand mentality---i hope the same is not true for bball.we need to pay attention here.

Not to worry, Rutgers is awful in football too.

It was more about Pitt than Rutgers.
that is true
and, SU should handle RU with little problem

all that said, I really like Mike Rice and what he is building down there. Best overall freshman class in the conference, IMO

Except for the fact we still have Boeheim, and the number one team in the country, and recruit better players at every position. Why do us as fans have to pay attention? I'm not playing in the games... Rutgers.

Except that even during the height of the McNabb years, SU was still an 8 win program. SU football in the 90s was nowhere near the level of SU basketball today.

my point is, its a start for rutgers.9th best recruiting class last year they are playing and winning young. read the trail signs here, i'm not saying they are giant killers but they are BEGINNING, a new era and program---thats what we need to pay attention to and crush them if we can.---the rac is a great homer arena if you haven't been. as i said with football years ago,we need to watch our arrogance and act like we've been here before.

Thing is though, my opinion won't play a role in the game. My other post also said "on any given night". So yes, they could win, but they still blow.

We are a bad matchup for them. But Rutgers gave us some trouble last year.
