You almost have to feel bad for ND basketball fans they havent gotten past the first weekend in the Tourney since god knows when. I know we have struggled to get past the sweet 16 but I think ND would give there left nut to get past the first round this year for once.

also watching USF/Nova . . . granted Nova really stinks this year, but I have been impressed with the Bulls. Not the best collection of basketball players I have ever seen, but Heath has himself a bunch of athletes who are willing to defend. That could be a real trap game for SU - little home contest in between roadies vs. a traditionally weak opponent. USF really defends the interior; if someone from SU doesn't hit from outside, they could be ripe for an upset there.

I thought elbows were auto-flagrants. I don't understand that rule at all. I'm all for it not being called, but it seems oddly applied. If you do it coming down with the ball is that always okay?

We will be focusing on our shooting you can bet that, but our D needs to keep focusing. The first seconds we sit back and let teams pass around without denying passes or stopping ball movement into areas of the court we could find ourself in some close games.
