BC sports teams are horrendous right now. If I were a "SuperFan", I might consider "SuperCide".And in more major suckitude of once and future rivals, BC got creamed by BU.
there's always hockey, right?BC sports teams are horrendous right now. If I were a "SuperFan", I might consider "SuperCide".
Yeah, that's like all of us saying there's always lacrosse.there's always hockey, right?

Ha - BC lost to BU the other night in hockey, too.there's always hockey, right?
Yeah what's up with BC? Is it the ACC affiliation that is their demise or were they just never that good in fb and bb to begin with?
I don't think joining the ACC was a good thing in hoops, but it's not like they were a perennial power in the Big East. They happened to leave at their high water mark so it looks bad, but they've always been mediocre. Football they killed all on their own with bad hiring and firing decisions.
It is incredibly fun watching them suck though - I don't really care why, just enjoying the train wreck.
"Yeah that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!"BC is looking at a 5-25 season. They suck like they've never sucked before.
BC had a good coach in place (his name escapes me right now). They fired him because he decided to interview for a better job (NFL maybe). Calmer heads should have prevailed, but BC played the part of woman scorned and haven't been the same since.Very worrisome given our situation.
The Big East did the SEC a favor in scheduling Rutgers and DePaul in the challenge rather than Nova and Marquette. Otherwise the results would have been totally embarrassing.

I think you're missing the point. Marq (one of the better BE teams this year) sat out the BE/SEC challenge. If they take the place of WVU or another team that lost, the BE would have chalked up another win.Yeah, but Wisconsin isn't in the SEC.
Your point was my point. Marquette did beat Wisconsin and would have done well in the SEC challenge if they participated.I think you're missing the point. I'm still confused as to why St John's was matched up with UK. Completely missed the boat on a top notch matchup between the conferences. If I'm a UK fan, I'd be pissed with that matchup. Imagine if we drew Ole Miss????
