Class of 2015 S/WR Daiquan Kelly (NJ) Dismissed from PSU Will Sign with UMASS

RU is going to win 3 games next year, and get blown out of many others. Whatever quality recruits they have will bail once the hits the fan. Flood was just about canned last year, and recruits think hes a long term solution? GTFOH

MSU is first, they aren't going 3-9. He's a kid lets see how this plays out but time to get him back on campus

Without even taking a visit to MSU he has them first already... that's never a good sign

Yes, he has.

And he has Rutgers over us?

One so-called expert on 247 just predicted the Cuse for DK.

Isn't that the point?
Exactly thats is the point of visits and what else would you expect?Even Rutgers' coaches know that. June could be a big month for the Orangemen with visits and camp attendees. I believe we pickup a few commits before July gets here. We are all for that I assume.

Union City's Daiquan Kelly is a 6'3" 200 lb. athlete Rutgers is recruiting as a safety. He visited campus Friday, and had a tremendously positive experience. Before that visit, the consensus was Kelly had Rutgers in third place, behind Pitt and Syracuse. After the visit, Kelly told Todderick Hunt that Rutgers was actually in second, running closely behind Michigan State, with Cuse and Pitt somewhere behind RU.

Or Todderick Hunt made it up. One of the two.

We should be seeing an article from Toad any day now that reads in part:

"Rutgers' interest in the 4-star recruit has cooled off recently, as Syracuse pulls in front for Kelly's services."

I kind of like how they pick and choose his highest ranking from a site and that makes him a 4 star recruit. Only 247 has him ranked as that.

I guess that's better than the PS though, they pick and choose the lowest ranking for our recruits when they reference them, lol.

honestly, how can anyone have Rutgers near the top... Shouldn't there have been widespread answers to the mass exodus of recruits last year by now... Guys literally leaving in droves. How do they have anything but their inaugural year in the b10 to sell, and in a matter of months, when they are scraped off the turf, they wont even have that.

Rutgers still isn't that far removed from being "successful" (relative term in relation to Rutgers). With the B1G affiliation, I think Rutgers will land some decent NJ kids every year going forward. It's inevitable because some kids just want to play as close to home as possible. But barring a miracle, it appears their days of being a player for elite Jersey recruits are over.

maybe some kids just like having their picture taken with a dopey looking sword and suit of armor that looks like they picked it up at a flea market? either that or the guy who will replace Flood at the end of the season is a great recruiter and is already working on his first class
