sounds like he is way too demanding of his players, even the NFL doesn't have those hours.

I spent two seasons working where the jets have pre-season camps and they have nowhere those time commitments.

If he is demanding those hours of players that is a NCAA violation, of course Bama is not subject to NCAA rules.

"Volunteer" or "Optional" stuff, which every D1 program has as part of their program, but that time also includes mandatory breakfast, classes, and study table. Do we think that good football players leave the facility after dinner instead of staying to watch film on their own?

People who say student-athletes get a great deal with their tuition scholarship don't think about this reality.

They don't have to. lots of "volunteer" time in there, plus lifting, etc. SU has same schedule.

I can't for the life me figure out why people would call football coaches meatheads.
