Sadiq - best glue guy since??

Just want to say I’m LOVING what Sadiq brings to this team. His intensity, desire to play shut down defense has been a missing piece to SU basketball.

I think he’s the best glue guy we’ve had in a very long time. The player that just makes everyone better when he’s on the court because of his sheer presence. It’s no coincidence our defensive intensity picked up 10x when he was on the court yesterday.

Completely different player, but I think he’s the best glue guy we’ve had since Josh Pace.

Best glue guy since Nate Kingz.

Suspect he's similar to Collin Murray Boyles of the Raptors who ended up being a #9 pick even though he's not uber tall or skilled offensively. They bring unrelenting defense and hard work which in today's NBA is exceptionally valuable. There are literally hundreds of scorers in the NCAA who might be NBA possibilities but the true gems are those that can actually play shutdown defense. Offense/shooting can be taught but defense is in your DNA. If you can do both, you're a superstar.
