Ours are always just that step late.. Too much run support i Suspect.. the Nc state kid saved the TD on the phillips rebound catch he probably makes without the safety coming in late.

Phillips definitelymakes that catch if the safety didn't get over and hit the ball.

You are right. Not sure if it is run support, lack of talent, or scheme but there have been countless bad balls that I am waiting for the safety to take and angle and intercept and they just never seem to be there
