Thats the crazy thing. Vegas opening lines are usually close to Sagarin. Although I can't imagine the actual line being anything less than double what he's saying.

The neutral line is -10.91 but he's currently giving home teams a 5.23 point advantage over the standard "3 point home advantage". So thats what brings it down to -6 in the dome.

But Sagarin has Clemson -25 over Wake, so he's not far off.

Keep in mind, though, that margin of victory is a big thing with his predictor model, so our two 50+ point outbursts against 2 crappy teams may be skewing the spread...a tad.

Will be interesting to see what number Vegas throws out to get money on both sides of the line. If/when Clemson beats Wake down thet'll be fresh on the mind of the public.

I think TH's performance the last 2 games really has the CFB world wondering just who exactly this SU team is. Have to say I hate ESPN for not even giving us a helmet sticker this past week or barely any mention at all. If nothing else our ST should have gotten one. AA and HD can eat Otto farts. AA didn't give us any damn credit last year either and ended up looking like an idiot when we took a share of the conference. Seriously hate them right now.

i didn't think they played well but maybe that's who they are. NC State is a below average team. They almost got beat by a D1AA the week before. Put up 4oo yards against Clemson and had 2 turnovers to 0. I don’t think the Clemson defense is anything to write home about.

They beat NCState by 12. I think 14 to 16 is a large spread playing at the Dome. Syracuse isn't great but is a solid physical team.

Boyd will give us huge problems though. We'll have them 3rd and long all night and he'll run for first downs when the pocket collapses. IMHO, we need to keep him in the pocket and make him beat us with his arm.

I think Sagarin is considering Clemson's past record on long road trips up north. Wake is a bus ride away. They've struggled against BC at Chestnut Hill since 2006. Even against a terrible BC team last year, they only won 45-31. A full Dome is a bigger challenge.
