He has Syracuse vs. NC State on a neutral field as a pickem/SU -1different good news here is that sagarin must not think much of nc state at all
We had an off game but it is hard to win on the road in conference...especially on a Thursday. You guys will find out how tough playing in the ACC on the road is soon.Do you think NCS defense is that good or did Clempson have an off game?
Beating NC State looks to be the key to us having a shot at a bowl game this season - it will be a huge game and they seem to be playing better and recruiting better than in the past with their new staff.different good news here is that sagarin must not think much of nc state at all

We've had our fair share of struggles in Winston-Salem believe me. The game is in Clemson and its homecoming. I don't see us having many problems with Wake.Great game against Georgia but you looked out gunned up front for a lot of the NC State game. I really don't know what to think. Wake is not such a tough place to play. If you guys have problems with the Deacons I will be surprised.
We play UGA next year too. Are we only going to play 11 games this year?BTW give you guys a lot of credit for your SOS. Even so, you have a good shot at going 10-1.
Yeah, we get it, we've never played a tough conference road game before. We had an off game but it is hard to win on the road in conference...especially on a Thursday. You guys will find out how tough playing in the ACC on the road is soon.

You must be under 30 years old or you have lost your long-term memory. We used to play conference games at BC, VaTech and Miami, back when Miami actually had a home crowd. I think those teams might be in the ACC.Well, I have to agree that Big East away games are not exactly ACC road games. On the other hand, we are pretty good road warriors - ask Mizzou, WVA and L'ville.
In no way did I say that Dollarbill. All conference games on the road are tough was all I was saying regardless of the conference.Yeah, we get it, we've never played a tough conference road game before.
Fair enough, I'll chalk it up to the shortcomings of internet discussion. Maybe I'm a little defensive about this topic. I have a lot of ACC people in my family who have been telling me non-stop that we aren't ready for the step-up in competition that the ACC brings (they include hoops:crazy:too). In no way did I say that Dollarbill. BTW did anyone listen to all the pundits who thought the Giants getting one at Carolina was a gift. I wonder how many peeps took the G-Men.IMO, There's no way the actual line will open anywhere near -6 because of the amount of money that would flow Clem right away. Just look at the way some of you are salivating at it. lol

Pre-BigEast conference, the annual schedule of PSU, WVU, Pitt, BC, etc, were pretty much conference games because we played them all every single season, alternating home and away.
Clemson is not ready for the step-up in competition in ACC hoops and we've been here since inception.Fair enough, I'll chalk it up to the shortcomings of internet discussion. I personally view the ACC as more of a finesse league in football, call me crazy. I think the Big East was more of a hard hitting physically league.
Step up in competition...when you back out Fl State and Clemson, not really at all.
