He doesn't look to run plays so its not because its a poor offence for him.   He likes to get the ball at the top of the key and try to create.   That is more on him, than the team,

2.  And it's not like he has been any good with his chances,   He has a TS% of 49%.  Do you not realize how terrible that is?

119 players in the NBA have played over 4500 minutes in the past 3 seasons.   Dion is 115th out of 119.

2 of those players below him have been run out by multiple teams -- Josh Smith (Atlanta, Detroit), Evan Turner (Philly, Indiana).  The other 2 are savvy defensive veterans (Hinrich, Prince).    Where does Dion fit in there?

3.   Other than being a Syracuse fan, I am clueless as to why one would think this guy deserves to start be the main guy on any team.

Dion is a high volume shooter, who can create inefficient shots for himself.   He can be a high volume, inefficient 20 ppg one day for a top 5 lotto team.     I appreciated Dion at the NCAA level.   But this is the NBA and let's be real about what this guy has done and WHAT HE HAS EARNED OR DESERVES.
