I do think it's less than 50/50 that we get in -- but all SDSU has over is the RPI. The committee has shown in the past that when it comes down to it they prefer a P5 team with 12-13 losses than they do a mid-major team with single digit losses.

However, the committee does like to reward mid-majors who challenge themselves OOC. If SDSU has the 2nd toughest OOC schedule, then there is only one team in the nation who challenged themselves more OOC. That could be a problem if they reward that.

I know you should win some instead of just playing and losing. But, I'm just saying that seeing that #2 OOC is bit concerning.

The standard for mid-majors seems to be: schedule a lot of tough OOC games and win a majority of them even though nearly all will be on the road. And many will refuse to play you for revenue reasons etc. That's a tough hurdle to climb over.

Well I'm not going to whine if we don't get in - but if SDSU is in over us it will have been a poor job done by the committee

Fans (of any team) are going to whine. The key guy for me is JB. If we don't get in then calmly state your case but don't whine about it. It does no good especially in these coin toss situations.

I don't think you have to worry about this. JB has gone out of his way to vehemently shut down any discussion of NCAA selection when asked about it. I think he cuts them off before the end of the sentence sometimes. I think he said something along the lines as it's not his job to talk about it. Whether that will remain the same if he is excluded on selection Sunday, or how his reactions will be relative to his ones from the past, remains to be seen, but I don't expect him getting very riled either way.

Syracuse's resume is far better than Sdsu, if they get over us, the committee did a poor job. Its not being a Syracuse homers, its just stating the facts. If you want to argue Michigan, Oregon St, Usc, I can live with that, but no way should Sdsu get in.
