Saturday is Senior Day at the Carrier Dome. Twenty-five young men (20 student-athletes, 5
student managers) will be honored in a brief ceremony prior to the game for their commitment
to the Orange program. They are: Drew Allen, Ri’Shard Anderson, Daniel Anyaegbunam, Jay
Bromley, Christopher Clark, Lewellyn Coker, Sean Hickey, Zian Jones, John Kinder, Charley Loeb,
Keon Lyn, Macky MacPherson, Zach McCarrell, Eric Morris, Steve Rene, Jerome Smith, Marquis
Spruill, Beckett Wales, Jarrod West, Jeremi Wilkes, Matt Ashe (mgr), Nick Capparelli (mgr),
Anthony Dragona (mgr), Devin Hill (mgr) and Zach Spitzer (mgr).

Interesting to see whose names are listed, and whose aren't...

Krautman and Flemming are NOT listed. Looks like their hardship waivers will be approved and they'll both be back next season.

Hickey, Kinder, Smith and West are 4th year players. Are Kinder and West taking their degrees and leaving, or do they plan to be grad students next season?

Where's PTG? Not enough credits to graduate, or is he somehow getting a hardship waiver for his 2011 "non-football related" injury? Or is his omission just another SUAthletics error? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a corrected list. If I recall, we've had a few years where the first released list wasn't the same as the final.

Hickey is the name that sticks out the most to me. There's no way he could have already made that decision, and there's no way we wouldn't take him back.

i think u may see sean hickey staying now that he got injuried if he comes back may help his stock,i think u may see jarrod west come back due to his relationship with aj long and kj williams but not sure on kinder or smith

Running back Jerome Smith, left tackle Sean Hickey and wide receiver Jarrod West — all listed as juniors on the roster — will be honored because they are on target to earn their degree in May. Their inclusion in the ceremony does not necessarily mean they are foregoing their final year of eligibility, according to Sue Edson, the assistant athletic director for communications for football.

Running back Prince-Tyson Gulley, fullback Clay Cleveland, kicker Ross Krautman, wide receiver Adrian Flemming, cornerback Joe Nassib, running back Greg Tobias and defensive tackle Lucas Albrecht are listed as seniors on the Syracuse football roster but are not part of Saturday's ceremony.

Should have read this before I posted in the other thread.
