The Athletic named 1 UDFA for each team who could make the roster and have an impact. Savion was their pick for the Chargers.

First FA out although there is also no info on Justin Barron as of 8/15.
Savion Washington is no longer with the Los Angeles Chargers. Washington, an undrafted rookie offensive tackle who signed with the Chargers in May 2025, was waived by the team on July 22, 2025, with a failed physical designation. This move was made to clear a roster spot for the signing of running back Nyheim Hines. Washington had been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list just prior to being waived.
