Saw Mali in a Sacramento Kings summer league game...

Summer League is weird though. Mali should, in theory, compliment Cousins well. Obviously Cousins isn't playing in SL.

Summer League are pick up games where guys like Jack Cooley look awesome. If you're a lock to make the roster, SL doesn't matter much. It's more for those fringe guys.

Sidenote: The NBA has done a fantastic job with Summer League turning it into an event.

The NBA has seemingly done a great job at turning EVERYTHING into an event. Draft, free agency, all star weekend, summer league.

While I would be cautious about being too quick to make judgments about summer league play, I really do appreciate the recaps. This time of year, I'm more in a baseball frame of mind and often forget to watch the games.

I've never heard anyone say the kid can't shoot. I'm personally disappointed that he won't be doing what we just saw in orange next year. One of these years we'll get a kid like this back again for that special year of "can you imagine if...?" We'll see if he can do this against actual NBA players but shooting is shooting and Mali can shoot.

You already have it this coming season in Lydon.

Take SL with a huge grain of salt.

Boogie is a fantastic center. Joerger is a good coach. Rondo is off the team.

Give Mali some time. His mechanics are there, I think he'll be a nice NBA player and play for a long time (and do Syracuse proud).

Cousins is one of the best centers in the NBA and demands double teams = opportunity for Mali.

Except when he gets in a bad mood (often) and decides he is just going to hang outside for an entire quarter.

It means if it's s bad situation he should try to make the best of it. Maybe it's a situation where his attitude and hard work may be the difference. Leadership skills do not come easy. Most people have . . . . . attitudes and are mostly selfish.

That makes much more sense, but nowhere close to what you originally posted which is why I commented on it. I get this though ^^^^^

Yep. But when he's on, he might be the best C in the league. If he pouts too much and gets traded, they'd get a pretty good haul in return (this might be the best case scenario IMO).

I'd love to see Cousins on the Celtics.

At halftime of todays game, Malichi has 13 points and 5 rebs on 4-7 shooting including 3-3 from 3.

man, they keep running the same play over and over again and Malachi keeps drilling the shot from the same spot. weird how the defense doesn't adjust.

wait, what? this is a clip on a loop? thats how vine works? ..my bad.

Good luck with Cousins on the team and they just signed Matt Barnes this past week..smh

we're talking about a franchise who seriously considered implementing the "cherry pick" offense where your guys just dont go back down and play D, because it works so well in the owners daughters pee wee games.
