and we are the only other 1 seed from the East coast (don't give me that blah blah we're getting ahead of ourselves. Idc, this team is that good. The at best a top 15-20 team ranking, even with White, is comical)... Do we go to NY or does Duke? South site is Memphis.

Sorry, it is way too early to be thinking about this. Sometimes teams that barely make the field end up in the Final Four.

It's going to be AMAZING when they don't meet expectations. AMAZING.

By the way we get them at home.

You should see their message board, they are already booking final four trips and talking about 40-0.

Tend to agree. I have zero problem with them being rated highly, and K usually has them ready to play / meshing as a team, but I have a feeling that this particular collection of guys might not live up to the billing, with no true lead guard on the roster.

I think Grayson "Ted Cruz" Allens draft stock is going to take a tumble after this year, just a prediction.

Yet Frank Howard is the next MCW. I just can't wrap my head around how every teams other players get little credit and our guys no matter how ineffective they are project to be NBA rookies of the year.

Where did I say that ? Grayson Allen was predicted to go top 15 in this years draft. Next year with a " deeper " draft I don't see that. That's crazy talk ?

What if the reigning champions finish with a better record than Duke? Maybe 'Nova gets the #1 seed in the East, we're a #2 or a #3, and Duke heads South.

Because I don't think Grayson Allen will be top 15 in next years draft that's giving Allen" little credit". Ok two3zone

They might end up great, but as you said, the lead guard or anyone to lead might be an issue. As great as that Kentucky team was with Anthony Davis, I think it was Michael Kidd-Gilchrist that was the floor leader for that team. God knows Kentucky has had teams that have looked just as good on paper, but they have always lacked the leadership. Duke has a better coach, but who is going to be the leader on the court? I doubt it is Grayson Allen, he has shown nothing in that regard. Amile Jeffereson? He might be the guy, as long as the guys respect him even though he won't be on the floor as much as some of the freshman. Kind of like a Kueth Duany situation. They should be a fun team to watch develop, and we should have a great game with them. ACC is going to have some battles this year.

Here's another scenario: The ACC gets enough teams in the dance to force multiple teams into the same region, including #1 Duke and #2/#3 Syracuse, a la Pittsburgh and Villanova in 2009.

(I know we had similar scenarios with Marquette and Virginia, but wanted to show there's a precedent for the top two or three teams in the region.)

I believe that only covers the first two rounds...in which case Duke would choose Greensboro, which might lead to them landing in the South region.

That's not how the pod system works. They could play in Greensboro regardless of what region they were placed in.

But this wouldn't exactly be a benefit. We want MSG, sure, but I don't think we want it at the cost of being bracketed with the #1 overall seed who hails from our own conference.

Its going to be interesting if Duke and SU are both one seeds. Our head to head matchup and perhaps whoever does bettering the ACCT could decide who gets MSG.

I know how the pod system works. With the new wrinkle for this year, I'm speculating on how the committee might handle it.

We're most likely going to have to beat Duke at some point in order to win it all. Better at MSG than in Glendale.

Everybody thinks Duke is loaded, but Nova is going to be just as good. They can replace Archidiacano and not miss a beat IMO. That's the team the really concerns me because they are veterans.
