Schadenfreude alert

You guys are missing some great comedy. Storrs scored and PP went for two down 28-12 in the second quarter. His math hasn't gotten any better since he kicked a FG down 7 late against BC in 2000(?). Storrs then completed a pass on the 2-point attempt short of the goal line.

Really, both teams should walk away from this with a loss.

And I quote:

"I could live with the Towson game. Towson has a number of NFL prospects and would give a lot of FBS teams fits. But there is no excuse for this showing against Buffalo. This team will take a minimum of three years to fix. Not only the on field coaching is a mess the talent on the field needs a major upgrade. A team with decent talent and the worst coach in the world should beat Buffalo. Towson would have a field day with them."

You know your program is bad when you can accept a loss to a FCS team. I would never accept a loss to a FCS team by SYRACUSE, even during "he who shall not be named"'s tenure as head coach.

Well, Buffalo is THE flagship state university in New York, or so I'm told.

Is there a different UConn program out there? I was told by several UConn posters that UConn had completely passed Syracuse as a program...surely, this must be the UConn at New Haven satellite campus that was blown out by UB. Even at our nadir under GRob Cuse never lost to UB. I'm confused...UConn was the powerhouse of the Big East.

Will UConn win a game this season?

The same can be said for Temple (lost to 0-4 Idaho) and USF (winless). Thankfully for all of them, they get to play each other. The American is a truly putrid conference.

They should make a trophy for this really quick.
