Scheduling: Expect to See Us Play G5's Home n Home

Due to Strength of Schedule playing a factor in the playoffs...the G5 schools(Sun Belt thru AAC) hold a big bargaining Chip. The FCS schools are losing huge leverage. Do not blame Mr. Frazier when he signs MAC St U. to a home and home soon.

I still see SU scheduling a FCS still. My feeling is unless you are a Top 20 team don't bother killing yourself to schedule 4 G5/P5 OOC teams. I endorse us scheduling Colgate as much as feasible in the future.

I still like OOC: 1 National Big Boy, 1 average/lower P5 or decent G5, 1 Academy Team/MAC, 1 FCS or low G5

Absolutely. Should be, emphasis on "should".

I agree that for now, scheduling a single 1AA is the right way to go. As long as we're doing 6 home games minimum per year, it's OK, but I would really like the average to be 6.5 or more.

Wish we could get a long-term deal with Army or Navy.

If a MAC school won't do 2-1, at this point, I would just as soon schedule anyone from G5 that would. Barring that, I'd prefer a game against a lower-level P5 school.
