I think we agree on the part about Lester.  Some of what he does is OK but we seem to go back to the same well too often.  I sensed NC State started to recognize that as the game went on.  Crossing patterns would help reduce the time needed to maintain blocks and therefore limit the exposure for the QB to be hit, but that is easier for the bigger guys.  Heck a roll out is fine to keep a team honest.

Running in between the tackles with size and perhaps a real blocking back can neutralize a faster defense's advantage.  It can also give the SU defense an much needed break, something this team failed to do this year.
