SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The fourth-ranked Orange men's lacrosse team posted a pair of scrimmage wins on Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Ensley Athletic Center. Syracuse knocked off Hofstra, 18-8, and defeated Division II powerhouse Le Moyne, 10-9.

Pretty huge faceoff rule change this year. Thats going to make thing REAL interesting.

"A violation will be called if a player picks up or carries the ball on the back of his stick. It will still be legal to clamp the ball with the back of the stick, but the ball must be moved, raked or directed immediately."

I hope that thus means a return to the face off unit like Cercy, Bassett and Ceglia! I think you will see Spencer Schmitt feature on the wings big, fast rangy SSDM, also Salcido and Messina also very quick. No talk of Firman this year? did he feature in the scrimmages?
