Season gets REALLY interesting beginning next week

I am very worried about Purdue.

The Boilermakers should have beaten Penn State.

They are physical and well-coached.
Too bad they didn't.

In spite of all the evidence the team has put forth the first two games, still don't see it drawing out more than 40k Saturday.

This team is fun and damn good

Here is the ticket map as of this morning

I don’t think Purdue is that good

Yeah - they certainly have a passing attack but it's not like they are Ohio State out there. They have had a losing record 6 out of the last 9 years( although they were 9-4 last year of course).

ESPN game predictor has Syracuse with a 58% chance of winning. It's going to be a really good game. Lots of people didn't think Syracuse would be that competitive this year and so far so good. Purdue is going to be a really competitive game and it is going to be a fun one to watch.

This is historically where we trip up though. Shades of NC State, Minnesota, East Carolina dances in my head

To me this is the big fork in the road. We win this we can start thinking of wins above bowl eligibility. A loss resets things a bit.
Exactly why I take them one at a time. I’ve seen this team have WTH loses to garbage teams to many times. Especially when they are on the cusp of being good/great. I celebrate each win like it’s or last. Even wins over that flaming bag of turd UConn team we played last night.

So he’ll be available?;)
I’ll tel you, when we were going through that process, I wanted him badly. But everyone knew he was headed to Nebraska and wanted freedom to walk whenever.

Dino has finally got the staff our school deserved to go get around him. You can see the difference. White, Anae, Beck and Ligoshitzki have been worth their weight in gold.

Can we expect a return of the B1G officials from the Buttgers game last year. Gee, that would be swell!

Trying to walk into every game expecting a crappy crew. At least yesterday they weren't whistle happy. That said the weaker team that was far from clean got flagged only 3 times same as us. That was a gift, albeit a pointless one, to UConn

It’s not just us… officiating is horrible across the board. Officials handed Bama the victory over Texas yesterday. The blown safety call was the primary mistake (hint the ball never reached the line of scrimmage so even if bama’s qb wasn’t sacked it was still a penalty in the end zone which is a safety. There were also a number of other non-calls on bama like pass interference in the end zone and obvious face masks which would have handed the game to Texas. That non safety call was one of the worst I ref decisions I have ever seen.

And Clemson looks weak. Watched the highlights and they didn’t dominate Furman like they should have. Not to get ahead of myself, but that also is a game I think we can win. As a matter of fact, we can play competitive football with anyone on this tough schedule.

They got outgained by Furman. Pretty shocking.

Fun for the casual observer. Nerve wracking for fans of the team.
