this is my optimistic guess... but i can actually see it happening. But i can also see us losing to any of Ville, ND, Mary, and Duke as well. I can also see us beating Pitt.

After last nights game, and I had us going 7-5 worse case, 8-4 most likely, and a decent shot at 9-3 with that marquee win we have been looking for in the ACC...but now, I am not sure I know who this team is. Hunt may very well be suspended for the CMU game too, that puts that game in jeopardy. Getting to 6 may be very tuff.

anyone who sees more than 6 now needs to see a huge change in the team vs CMU to feel there is any shot. no way to get there without going 3-0

They say the biggest jump in play occurs between the 1st and 2nd games, plus we have an additional bye week. I think the CMU will show what kind of team we have. We could be fighting for bowl eligibility again going into the BC game; except this year we're on the road in Chestnut Hill, and the Eagles' transfer qb just rushed for a 118 yards in week 1...
