Season Suite Interest?

I was quoted $10K for a single suite vs Pitt, 24 tickets, 6 parking passes, PLUS the food and bev tab. Our group wasnt large enough to make that work. But i thought it was pricey as well. Good for the school if they are getting that much.
It should be given to the most passionate of fans. Like all of us for example. 😁.. not rich CEO’s who keep mistaking derron rippey for judah mintz, whilst hammered.

10k doesnt include a buffet of some kind??? Huh???

$400 a ticket doesnt even include food? Thats insanity. No food, no drinks, no private bathrooms...that's awful

I believe orangeinjersey said that $10k quote included food and parking.

Wait, I thought it was 1200 per person (example price)
No, I would guess that's per game for a suite holding a dozen people or so, maybe 20.
That's just to rent the room, the $1200, I would guess.
Then it's the catering that adds to the cost. And probably certain suites that are bigger and/or closer to the action would cost more.
I used to work at a law firm who had a box at Chiefs games, and I hosted a bunch of events there over the years.

given how empty many of these suites are it seems like there is some lost revenue with the way they are running it. I guess the question is how many do they have to offer. On top of that they want the people who buy them to be getting value as well..

I always wondered why if they have an empty one they don't promote a way for people to use it. I mean $2-3-400 a ticket for say 4 people or more. some would jump at that for one offs but they dont seem to want to do that at all.

Or...

Select groups of people ahead of time like existing STHs to upgrade for a game for free or a discounted price. then that opens up their regular seats the box office can sell individually.

(Dear SU - my commission is 10% for this brilliant idea, give it to NIL)

This is my point. I take my kid to a couple games a year from out of town and would jump at the chance to give him a special experience without the need to know a friend of a friend not using their suite ticket for a game

I'm not sure how true this is as when i inquired, the Dome told me they had ONE suite left unsold, and that they preferred to hold it to sell for the season Football/Basketball.

If you are seeing empty suites, I gather they are corporate suites whose owners just arent into SU games and cant even "give away the tickets to friends/family/employees" which sadly is a shame if true.

I worked for a company that had a suite at Bills games. If we couldn’t get customers for a given game, we would essentially “donate” by inviting groups related to employees like a Boy Scout troop someone’s kid was in. Teams have absolutely no interest in getting involved with mediating in situations like that, and frankly it was a pain in the butt to coordinate getting a non-work group to the game.

I would not be surprised if businesses feel letting the tickets go unused is their best option. As a fan, it’s frustrating. As someone who had to deal with that in the past - they are very likely correct.

Our company used to have unused premium seats when people opted out or were asked last minute. I asked why not ask at the beginning of the season and was told they didn’t like doing it except for the less attractive games in case they had important visitors etc coming in. What a waste.
