IF they beat Mizzou in SEC title game. Mizzou no joke.Even if auburn wins the game, with Mississippi state out, and Ohio State losing their QB today, Bama winning the SEC title game will be enough to put them over 1 loss TCU or 1 loss Baylor.
That said Bama just took the lead back, wouldn't be surprised if they don't relinquish it
Doesn't matter what you think. When the media mentions it over and over, it is good for the conference - period. With the exception of the GTech win the rest of the SEC teams you referenced are the dregs of the conference. I'd say its equally instructive that a UK team that was 2-6 in the SEC nearly beat L'ville on their home field while a 4-4 UF team that resides in the weaker SEC East nearly beat FSU at the Doak. Could you imagine the SEC pumping their chests out if Bama, Auburn, Mizzou and MSU (mostly on their home fields) beat Wake, Cuse, NCState and UNC? Nah, me neither.

Aha, an SEC troll. Media attention matters. You are the only fool that doesn't think so.The media attention this weekend and $2.50 will get you a ride on the NYC subway. I look at the current rankings of this year's recruiting class and ESPN has seven SEC teams in the top 10. In addition to seven consecutive national titles (and damn near an eighth last year) the SEC has had 36% of all first round draft picks over the last five years while winning 71% of their bowl games during that period. Until those stats are reversed I think SEC haters are going to have to settle for getting excited about a few wins over the dregs of the conference.

You only seem to come out to defend the SEC.
So is Clemson, FSU, VT, etc. What's your point? The Cuse/Pitt experience sucks? We already know that. Keep choppinLOL are you Crusty the Clown? Been wondering where were you hiding. I grew up in Syracuse and went to grad school at SU. Have never attended an SEC game in my life although I hear it's quite the experience.

Troll? no. Fanboy? Absolutely.Try to keep readin'. I was responding to Crusty's goofy assertion that I was an SEC troll.
Remember the days when we broke Mizzou's home game winning streak? With a QB who couldn't run.
Troll? no. Fanboy? Absolutely.
I don't think anyone is arguing that the ACC is better than the SEC but you can bet your butt that SEC would be going nuts if they beat FSU or went 4-0 regardless of the level of the teams. That said, SEC West has been the powerhouse all year and still probably deserves to have 2 teams in the playoff.
