I remember Arinze breaking the backboard in a midnight madness held at Manley.

Some useless trivia - Jerome Lane Jr played football (wide receiver) at Akron and the Giants signed him as an undrafted rookie in 2017. Don’t think he ever played though.

i remember that. I was a freshman at SU. The funny thing is that it wasn't even a vicious slam, like Dawkins' were. It looked like the backboard was primed to go. Coleman and Seikaly definitely had more forceful dunks that same season, as did Lane, iirc, that didn't break the glass.
