If he does so does Jesse Edwards. This is not a knock on Joe at all because he is a really good player that maxed out his potential given the system he was asked to play in and that's all you can really ask for from a player. I'm genuinely and morbidly curious, does Joe have the worst winning % of any player in the JB era?

I don’t think he has that big of a following in Scranton anymore. It’s been 20 years, and his hometown came to see him play. Not sure he’d get that same following as a head coach here.I was in Lake George over the summer. A waitress saw our gear and asked about Joe. His town still roots for him.
This got me thinking -- I wonder if Gmac is on the short list because he may bring 5,000 scrantonites in buses for every home game. This would help offset the decline in attendance.
Good call... and I forgot that Jesse came in with Joe. It's too bad these talented kids have been playing in these circumstances.Over how many years and SU only? Cole and Jimmy would own that from playing one season here and being 16-17. Symir and Benny in year two would be right behind them.

Funny you say that...I was thinking about that listening to Jim lament Justin being a 2 playing SF and remembering Joe as PG, Marek as C. It's been a underrated part of the issues. Just not recruiting well enough to have any depthI'd welcome Joe back. He's been great this year overall. Unfortunate he had to play out of position for most of his career. That's been a recurring theme during the downswing.
Funny you say that, was talking to a couple Scranton area locals the other night and neither of them knew who Gerry was and I was very surprisedI was in Lake George over the summer. A waitress saw our gear and asked about Joe. His town still roots for him.

Marek at C was criminal and totally unfair to Marek.Funny you say that...I was thinking about that listening to Jim lament Justin being a 2 playing SF and remembering Joe as PG, Marek as C. It's been a underrated part of the issues. Just not recruiting well enough to have any depth
