Serious Facilities Question for those who know

What constitutes: ' inferior facilities', as mentioned in other posts regarding recruiting?
What are current 18 yo's looking for in facilities when offered the opportunity to attend and play at a pretty good university. Living in the 'TRIANGE'; Raleigh, NC, I have seen first hand 'inferior facilities' when considering Duke Univ Football. That makes sense. I have also seen the facilities in Austin, TX. We are not close to either are we ? What has to happen at SU for this issue to be resolved for football? What is the reasonable wish list?

We've been over this oodles of times, but here are the main points:

1. indoor practice facility
2. updated facilities for trainer, recovery, hot/cold tubs, etc.
3. updated players' lounge

Some have also indicated a desire to see yet another update to the weight room.
BTW: in an ongoing arms race things are never "resolved". While not all projects need to be huge, there is always room for modest updates/upgrades just to keep up with the Joneses. The belief that things are "resolved" leads to complacency and a lack of updates. After 5+ years with no updates/upgrades things can start to look dated when compared to the Joneses.
