Funny, Duke has ONE ranked team on their schedule on the road the rest of the way, on Feb. 4th.
OSU's next road game against a ranked team is Feb. 4th as well
Kentucky? Feb 21st.
And UNC doesn't until Feb. 25th.

But it's Syracuse's fault that the BE is down this year and we apparently made the BE schedule too.

Seth's becoming a real dick head. It's just a scheduling quirk. It means we'll have a heavy schedule of ranked teams in Feb. Looks like Duke & UNC will only play 1 ranked team on the road the rest of the season (each other).

Maybe based on name recognition.

You can drop Arkansas from Uconn's list of top 4 OOC games so far and replace them with Wagner and the average RPI of those top 4 OOC games for both Cuse and UCONN is 61.

Its great being number one. So many asstards out there hoping like hell we'll lose every game we play. And each time we disappoint they go analyzing our schedule looking for our next loss.

On the road Wednesday at Villanova ... I don't care how down they are or how much they have sucked this year. Anyone who follows Big East hoops knows that this will be a dogfight and they will probably test us more than Marquette did.

But, of course, Seth Davis is too thick too realize this.

Well, our schedule seems easy because we're expected to win them all, because we're better than those teams. I'm sure UCONN fans consider our home game vs Seton Hall an "easy win". Its amazaing how the best teams always seem to have the easiest schedule. Gee, I wonder why?

I honestly thought Seth Davis was merely pointing out that it appears Syracuse will be favored, and possibly undefeated until mid-february. I don't think it was a shot at our league schedule...which historically is one of the tougher ones because of television demands.

Maybe he's just surprised that the BE has so few ranked teams right now. It is surprising. The BE is down a little this year. But get used to being dissed by ACC faithful. Our fan base will ruffle a lot of feathers in the Carolinas.

You know, it does appear that the BE is down this year, however the conference is still #2 in both RPI and SOS. Last year the conference was #1, and the numbers have only slightly decreased. Only reason it fell to #2 is because the Big 10's rankings have really improved this year.
