good against Wva so far. It is all a out matchups. Pope playing well against the big turkish dude.

I love how they keep mentioning Syracuse is the number 1 team.

I guess the Mounties really are as bad as they looked against Vandy.

...announcer said this isnt Syracuse in saying something about West Virginia...interestingly, Seton Hall is acting like 'Cuse up 15 points with a minute left at half time...beating up WV.

Is the BE this bad or are we just that good? A little of both I suspect.

Think that maybe some teams after playing us realize the importance of defense after seeing how it can fuel one's offense? Good for Seton Hall, they didn't hang their heads after the loss to us but refocused. WVU missing a good point guard and SHU taking advantage.

Seton Hall played terribly against us, but they are not a terrible team. Their biggest problem is they have no plan B when Pope gets shut down.

WVU was only favored by 1 so this isn't some crazy outcome right now

It's the latter 100% certain.

No matter how good we are, the BE is not what it was. Pitt and WVU have looked bad all year and ND is putrid.

I think it closed at WVU -1.5, but it opened at SHU -1. At WVU -1.5 I had Hall 60% to cover. Personally I parlayed South Dakota St and North Dakota St tonight.

that was an easy play with WVU tonight. Didn't see the spread, I would have taken the Hall in a second. Cigar game.

This makes SU's annihilation of SHU look that much better!

Florida's loss to Rutgers doesn't make us look good. But we play both those teams once each, so I would imagine it doesn't hurt our RPI.

Other teams just aren't as dominant as they used to be... still very good, many of them still top-25 quality. WVU's big man has been hurtin I believe, otherwise he and Jones might be the best big man combo in the league.

I'm just curious, how come you always start your posts with this:

Not trying to be a dIck, just actually wondering.

wvu took #7 baylor to ot, they can't be that horrible

You take away some pretty subpar officiating toward the end and they win in regulation.

IMHO I have been saying for quite a while that there is a huge disparity between the top of the BE and the rest of the conference. And I think that the projections for the BE for the NCAA tourny (8 I believe) may be a tad overkill. This seems to be a down year for the BE after watching them play ... ND, Villanova, Cincy only shadows of what they were. Pitt and Marquette are overrated IMO. Louisville I think will be good ... yeah bash me. And UConn of course. Who else?? I do like Seton Hall but they are dependent on Theodore and Pope ... take one or the other away and nada. The bottom feeders are beating up on each other (ie: St. Johns over Providence?) Rutgers? Who? They'll live high off their Florida victory for the next 3 months while getting pounded by the rest of the BE (Yeah, we're 0-15 in the BE but we beat Florida ... we should go to the tourny). Georgetown, to me is a big question mark. Where the hell did they come from?... I don't think they'll last. And USF? There is not a team deeper than SU. IMO there is not a team as talented as SU. I may be biased (actually I am) but there isn't a team in the BE that is near the quality of SU ... overall.

never been asked that before...easy way to continue (indicate) a thought from above. Also it does add emphasis to comment rather than starting as a full sentence. Have used that ever since creative writing course including in law practice.

Happy holiday!
