With that in mind - would love to see Monroe added to the roster. His status is being monitored by a number of high majors. Rutgers is hot on the trail, as is Indiana along with a number of other teams. SU needs a stud bucket getter...stay tuned.

All things being equal, Folefac is the better player. At least long term.

Folefac has some really good footwork around the basket. But I think we need a little more 3 point shooting from the forward spot.

if they go to 5x5 and allow it to go backwards a ton of players suddenly get new life. They would really have to only do it going forward for classes or the chaos would be crazy.

Can't disagree - but was thinking there might be room for both. However, that's probably not realistic based on available NIL and also, how many other programs are hot after both players. Sadiq White is very foul prone. I could see Folefac and Monroe on the floor a lot together. I'm happy with either player really. Wondering about Monroe's defense vs that of Folefac? Assuming Folefac is the superior defender, but I really can't say definitively.

He entered the portal last year and even got to a final 6 of : kansas, miami, ole miss, Rutgers, UConn, and Pitt before returning to Quinnipiac instead.

Yeah, players winding up without chairs when the music stops is a portal reality we usually don't talk about...

With the 5--for-5 global approval about to drop, this portal cycle just got put into limbo and there is likely to be a lot of activity/moves after the declaration window closes... Programs holding the rest of their bags to jockey for those 5th year seniors...

There is no shot this kid is eligible next year, unless the 5-for-5 passes and all seniors are eligible immediately.

If that happens, all bets are off on portal activity. I would put the chances of that happening at 25%. Unlikely but not totally impossible. I'd be surprised if it did.
