I agree there's a 'mystique' perception out there. But it's total snake-oil. I'm still amazed (but not surprised) that the NCAA did nothing to him after he was caught buying players on an FBI wiretap (par for the course for KU). Dirty up to his eye sockets.

FWIW, I just talked to Marcus' AAU coach. Says the Kansas visit is going well. Doesn't have any other OVs locked in as of yet, although it wouldn't surprise me if the final three are USC, Texas and UCLA. Also says Marcus and Maximo are still slated to take an unofficial visit to Syracuse on March 4.
