His AAU coach Doug is a good guy and was fundamentally sound as a player from what I remember. He was a walk on at Cuse during the mid 80s. His relationship with Coach Boeheim helped with getting Ralph to the camps and I hope the ties will give us an edge in landing the kid.

Well said, my friend. I texted with Doug earlier this week (I'm waiting for him to invite me to Bermuda for some R&R). He continues to hope that Ralph picks Syracuse, but he isn't pressuring him in any way whatsoever. When I told him that Ralph had set an OV to 'Cuse, Doug was happy, needless to say!!!

Surprised how we dropped the ball here by not getting involved earlier. He was known to us and been to a few camps as a youngster. The affiliation was there through his AAU coach.
