This kid is a prototypical Syracuse forward to a T that ends up outplaying his ranking and making the NBA. Seems like Autry wants to get back to that with this kid and Freeman. I’m all for it.

For all of the dinners at JB’s, which bring their own values, taking a kid out to a nice restaurant (not Dinosaur) sends a different message. I like the change.

What makes you say this?

He's a consensus top40 recruit. We've had guys way lower ranked than Sadiq have much higher stats than 10 and 5.

That's just my scouting take at this point. I'm not saying he won't produce more than that I'm more indicating that is probably his floor. This guy is one of the forwards Alabama and Arkansas have been fielding lately (not named Brandon Miller)

Love that we are going after a kid on a Tobacco Road... and not backing down.

We still have our recruiting areas of strength but I have enjoyed seeing us branch out to other areas around the country as well. Cuse hoops is back!
