If you want to get back to being elite you need McDonald's All Americans. Back when Pearl came you had Michael Brown, played 1 year left, Rodney Walker left midway in 86, was 1st big off the bench. DC, Stevie, Billy. Jim was getting big time recruits.

I think the point is that if a McDonald All American caliber recruit is too needy. We will pass everytime for the 4 star or transfer that is willing to put the necessary work in on campus not just for success at Syracuse, but also to get to the next level.
