you haven't been here long. You don't know my history. And you may not have noticed once again, the guy you cited was wrong about what he said. You might not have noticed but the guy I cited in my post is in the know way more than you are.

FWIW, just traded messages with a national analyst at one of the primary recruiting services ... simply passing along what he said: He thinks it's down to Kansas and Miami.
That’s wild. I’m truly in shock. Has to be huge NIL money. There’s no other explanationFWIW, just traded messages with a national analyst at one of the primary recruiting services ... simply passing along what he said: He thinks it's down to Kansas and Miami.
Sadly it’s business which I totally get, if NIL is equal I think we have a chance if we are way behind then he is gone. Follow the greenThat’s wild. I’m truly in shock. Has to be huge NIL money. There’s no other explanation
I hear ya. Jamie Shaw of On3 just posted an article as well on Jalil. It's VIP - but I'll just say here it mirrors what this other analyst told me earlier today...That’s wild. I’m truly in shock. Has to be huge NIL money. There’s no other explanation
And I think Jalil now has the argument he could go make bank playing for a G League team and can leverage that like crazy. When he was ranked 40th he couldn’t do that. We are going to need to win at a much higher level, or get a few bigger donors, to compete with Top 5-10 talent.
That's the reality. Thought this one was different but we aren't there yet.
I guess you are not aware of Dasher’s stature on this board. You might not have noticed but the guy I cited in my post is in the know way more than you are.
Miami fans seem to think 2024 will be a blueblood-esque year and they will have a championship caliber team.Hell of a player and certainly worth a nice chunk of change but kind of like with Dickinson there has to be a cap at some point. I truly think Miami had two really nice years but will fall back this year and won't have much in the cupboard to play with Bethea of that's where Jalil goes.

These kids always say how the money isn't a factor, until it's in front of them. I almost wish they would just say it up front instead of playing the "I want to play where I feel at home" card.
I think Jordan Miller was the bigger loss. Not surprised they think that. I don't see it. I think this year with swapping Wong for Cleveland they take a step back.
Just my 0.02 if I were him... if he wasn't coming to Cuse, I'd 100% go to Ignite. You'll get paid, get endorsements, free college if you want it and they are putting a ton of guys into the league. They play against grown men. You'll get to focus on NBA-type development. You'll have plenty of exposure.
All due respect to Kansas and Miami, etc. You'll be better prepared.
I'm obviously biased, but with what we're going with (and, to JB's credit, what he allowed Judah to do last year), I truly think Cuse is a better choice than Kansas or Miami. But I'll never begrudge a kid going to Ignite.
Again, just my 0.02 as a Cuse fan, but also a giant NBA fan.
I think Jordan Miller was the bigger loss.
I'm not blaming them for getting the bag at all. I'm just over the way they say that isn't what they're looking for. It's tiresome. It's tough. Even when you are all in on betting on yourself- there is still a lot that can happen during your freshman year at college to the effect that a mostly guaranteed and massive NIL deal is a tough thing to turn down. It's a security blanket that I could never blame a kid for taking if someone is willing to open their pocket book
100 pct with you on this. Just strike while the iron is hot. He blew up over this past year. Take the best offer and run with it.
