He wasn’t a priority to us and we had gone different directions. I believe it was previously stated he wanted to follow his own path anyways. No reason to freak out over this as we know some will.

He's nowhere near as good as Tyus. 18-68 on the season overall in the EYBL and 7-42 from 3. Those numbers are horrible.

Butler’s been on par with us for years. We’ll return to the top 15 soon enough but I think this is a great commitment for a late bloomer that imo didnt show all he had to offer in the ‘17/‘18 circuit.

Best of luck to Khalif. Butler’s really pickin it up this year
