Isn't it obvious to all that these kids dreams are to get to the NBA as fast as they can, and what better way of doing so than under the 'amazing' tutelage these elite kids get under Coach K during that crucial (make it or break it) stretch of October through March preceding the NBA draft. That exhausting & extensive 5 month duration of such brilliant coaching is the utmost contributing factor why these elites get to the league so quickly. Plain & simple really...plug in Calipari as well.

Well recruiting is his strength, it's not like he's a horrible coach. He gets really good talent every year and generally has them playing together well Midway through the season. He's not the greatest X's and O's guy and he doesn't have the greatest system ever but the guy can coach.

Did pretty well at Memphis and UMass. Outside of Camby who played at UMass during Cals tenure? He just didn't roll the ball out.

The problem with Kentucky is that they don’t need to deal with people outside for money. Their boosters pockets are so deep they do it all in house. No money trail. Still against the rules but yeah.
