Article is solid, but doesn't offer any noteworthy insights into his college destination. The story may be written by Gutierrez, but it is agnostic/non SU specific.Link. It is a premium article.
Justin Taylor draws interest from Syracuse, Indiana, others
Indiana, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and others are prioritizing the Class of 2022 6-foot-6 shooting guard.theathletic.com
He appears to be a better athlete.Buddy 2.0
Nope. UVa is out on Justin. They got their #1 target and it wasn’t JT.If Virginia wants him they will get him. Did he watch the game the other night? Bennett gets his players wide open shots. Everything we get is contested or forced.
This would certainly seem like good news for us.Nope. UVa is out on Justin. They got their #1 target and it wasn’t JT.

They have limited spots and the plan was to only take one guy at that spot. At least according to that article. If he waits and hopes for someone else to leave so he can go there, he is taking an awful risk and might lose his chance to go to Syracuse, where he has been our top priority at SG for a long time now. Can’t they take more than one guard?
Calling him Buddy is lazy.
More complete game and twice as athletic.
As of now yes and yesDoes anyone know if we’re looking at him as a SG? Would we take both he and Ty Rodgers?
Thank you. Stack up the talent. As of now yes and yes
What do you mean as of now?As of now yes and yes
Taylor is a SGDoes anyone know if we’re looking at him as a SG? Would we take both he and Ty Rodgers?
I would like Copeland too.Taylor is a SG
Rodgers is a SF
very realistic as of now we land both of these kids and that would be a good haul. We just need a solid center in the class on top of these 2 and I hope it’s Riley
Agreed a class ofI would like Copeland too.
Things simmering in the Huntley-Hatfield front?Agreed a class of
PG-Copeland
SG-Taylor
SF-Rodgers
C-Riley
is very realistic as of now. Also would make some noise because that’s a great haul.
