Definitely a good thing but he's liking galloway/bates comments as well for IU. Wouldn't look into it too much but he definitely has interacted more with current cuse players on social media then all others and its not even close. He hits up Elijah Hughes stuff a lot too.. UNC players/relationship is no where to be found besides one or two guys. I'd be shocked if he's not orange on Saturday.
Yeah, I didn't go through all of the comments. He seems to have a really good rapport with our guys. Happy Early Orange Birthday, Justin!

Picked up a VT writer prediction. I like the trend

Can you imagine the implosion here if things go wrong Saturday?

Red needs to lock this kid up for four days. I think he is Red's recruit. The GMAC bashing would be painful.

It would be great if we landed Taylor and we can make a statement with him too for the role Buddy has. That role is one that fits the modern game as being a shooter/scorer and a large focus of the offense. Certainly can't hurt for the long term future of recruiting.

Haven't read through this whole thread, but this kid looks to have a really solid handle and can go left as well as he can go right (even tho it seems like he still finishes right no matter what side of the rim he's on). Also looks like he has good lift and can get square from a lot of different points of receiving the ball.

Is that accurate? He looks like way more than a shooter.

Yeah, take clips from HS / AAU with a slight grain of salt, but he looks to be more than just a shooter.

And he's at least slightly above average athletically -- more explosive than say a Buddy or Andy [not criticizing those guys].

Yeah, he's a lot more like Cooney in terms of his hops and driving skills.

As has been posted prior, he's like Buddy, but with the sports package upgrades.

I was going to make the Cooney comparison, for the [two handed dunking] reasons you mention -- but figured that would be loaded, because there's a portion of the fanbase that fervently believes he was slow and unathletic.

Well, it’s true. I was watching a documentary from the 1990’s called White Men Can’t Jump. You can’t argue with facts.

Cooney dunked more times in one half @ BC, than Andy Rautins and Buddy have for the totality of both of their careers in Orange to date.

I still kinda giggle about how I thought they kept showing the replay of his steal and slam, when in fact it was him doing the same thing 3 different times over the span of like 5 minutes.

Yeah sometimes aggressiveness on the drive can be misconstrued as athleticism especially for a kid with his size. That said, just the aggressive tendencies is a major positive. It can only help his game and getting good looks if he is a willing driver and can finish.
