Clarke noted that the Syracuse coaching staff thinks his game will translate to the Orange system and to the ACC. Given his height and length, he’s a prototypical Syracuse player that would fit in the 2-3 zone. He’ll take a visit up to Syracuse this weekend for the Elite Camp on August 25th.

“ Talk to some of the coaches,” Clarke said. “I just can’t wait to visit out there on the 25th going to the camps.”

Clarke said his primary recruiter is Gerry McNamara.

“He just wants me to keep working,” Clarke said of the conversation with McNamara. “Knowing I’m coming to the camp he really just wants me to work on my game. Right now it’s just about being better.”

"Syracuse has been on me. I went to their Elite Camp in the fall," Clarke said. "I definitely talked to [head coach Jim] Boeheim for a little. He said he liked my game a lot."
