I like them.
He tells us when he is not pleased with team and tells when he is.
He does not teach in the way that Marrone did - I thought that was what Marrone did well - he gave us a bit of an insider view of how coaches think and operate.
Shafer does not do that but he does express his feelings about the play and I like that.
And based upon some of his comments and some of what I have read he is a tough guy - works the guys hard.
