I just read an article about the best stats from each starter on the Cuse squad and it talked about Jerami being the best jumper on the squad and maybe in all of college hoops - "He can outjump just about anyone in the country."

And as CTO said in the thread about alternate possession -

We can't win the opening jump ball. Why would be want more of them?

If Jerami continues to start, should he get a turn at the opening tip? His leaping ability and arm length seems to indicate this might be a good choice.

I thought I read somewhere that the opening tip has zero correlation with winning. Someone did a study. The opening tip is more of a symbolic gesture to start the game.
