Should MLB ban chewing tobacco?

This is the topic of the day on Mike & Mike due to Tony Gwynn's death.

I think it is unnecessary and hypocritical. Obesity is a bigger public health concern. Will MLB ban sales and the advertising of unhealthy food? Ha ha! Parents should educate their children about the dangers of tobacco use. It is not MLB's responsibility.
 
People will dip regardless. It's unfortunately a part of the culture, but one I never understood when I played. It's also incredibly popular with young people as I know a lot of friends that dip.
 
I assume the ban is for just on the field or is it the locker room as well? Beer isn't allowed in the dugout/bullpen (unless you're Rod Beck) so I'd guess that chew would be banned like that is.
