I have always given DB credit for changing the DC and it has worked out much better then I anticipated. However, his first choice left after a few days for another team.  Bringing in the new OL was huge and has paid many dividends already and the OL looking better every game!

As you can tell, I am not a big fan of DB's head coaching abilities at a P5 level.  Seems like he is learning on the job and it just adds to the previous 20 years of dismal SU football.  As a fan, I would like to see steady winning like back in the Coach P days.  I don't think asking to go to a bowl game most years is to much to ask for.

I like DBs personality just like everyone here, however that does not make him a good coach.  That is a "black & white" view with no gray area.  IMO, wins and losses are the only thing that shows the true capabilities of a P5 head coach.
