Sickening

From the AP recap:

"Krautman did not know what happened. Orange left tackle Justin Pugh took the blame, saying he missed his block. Merrell smiled, saying he came through the exact same guard-tackle hole that he did in making his plays last year."

How can this happen?

the kick was low. I help out our HS football coach with his kickers from time to time because i have a soccer back round. the approach and the plant are slightly different for a 50 yarder then a 32 yarder.
Should get a chip shot into the air quickly ..... he did not...any kicker can get the ball over a lineman standing flat footed 5 or 6 yards away

ARE YOU SAYING HE NEEDED THE 64DEGREE LOB WEDGE, I SEE THE LIGHT, DOUG SHOULD BENCH HIM THUS MAKING THE NEXT GAME MORE LIKELY A WIN.

Rutgers offense is terrible our D Dominated them most of the day. thanks ryan and you can put the block at least partially on Krautman it was way to low another shitty saturday

Really?

Like you say the D dominated, and the offense moved the ball. A handful of plays were the difference, and that's sickening?

happens. As much bad stuff as happened today, there was a lot of good to build on the next 6.

That speech mirrored what was said at the six-year olds' soccer game today.

But happens a lot around here in the form of excuses, turnovers, penalties and special teams flops.

Go, we haven't turned the damn corner, my man. At some point, the talk of a successful future tomorrow needs to start happening today.

This was a program that couldn't win plays, today sucked, but it wasn't because they couldn't play offense or defense. At the end of the day Rutgers made more plays, but measured in single digits, and with help from the league office. Rene's fumble was BS.

How many times are we going to say this

The kick was low and a block was missed. The kick would have been deflected and missed without the missed block. The missed block caused the TD.

The previous missed FG was all on Marrone!!! We have a kicker that can't kick 50 yard FGs indoors. Marrone did not put Krautmann in a position to succeed.
