Well….it has. We had one hot tourney run (after barely sneaking in) to prop us up in ‘16, but that was sandwiched by not making it in ‘15 or ‘17.

I could justify everything until 2020. That’s where it really turned and I realized those weren’t down seasons, they were the new normal.

Now, they’re not even the new normal. We’re several notches below hoping to sneak in the tourney and make a run.

We’re not average. This is going to be the 3rd time in 4 years where we miss the tourney. And not only that….the 3rd time in 4 years where we’re not even close to making the tourney.

“Average” = bubble team, IMO. Pretty good teams make the tourney easily. Good-great teams get high seeds and have a shot to win it.

You insisting we stick it out with a 78 year old head coach and a triple digit Kenpom team for as long as it takes does not make people who disagree with you “emotional.”

Why not measure since 2017, so you don't skew the results with 2 miracle tournament runs by mediocre teams?

Show us who we REALLY have been these past 7 years.

We have won 5 NCAA tournament games in the last 7 years.

In the last 7 years, we have won a grand total of FOUR games in the ACC tournament.

That's who we are. Not a couple miracle runs from 7 and 9 years ago.

Give it up, for God's sake. This show is over.

We are terrible by historical SU standards, even before Boeheim was coach.

If you want to compare us to teams from the Horizon League, or the Sun Belt, or the Patriot or the MAAC, well, I'm sorry, but we don't play in those leagues, and our program has been levels above that for over 50 years (again before Boeheim).

Right. And even by Syracuse standards, Boeheim's record since 2017 is nowhere close to the last 6 years Roy Danforth was here.

Danforth made the post season every year, made a Sweet 16, a Final Four, and the NIT Quarterfinals with none of the advantages that Boeheim has today.
