I saw a clip of rules for basketball in North Korea and it noted 4 differences:

1) Dunk is worth 3
2) If you swish a 3-pointer, it's worth 4
3) If you miss a foul shot, you lose a point
4) Baskets in the last 3 seconds are worth 8 points

I admit they are pretty gimmicky, but the 3rd one has me intrigued...

lol nice.
If I were an NBA team owner and there was no players union I would totally make #3 a thing in the form of docked pay for missed FTs

its a no from me dawg GIF

Hard to sometimes know if a shot is truly a swish.
do refs make that call? is it reviewable by replay, do you lose TOs if you're wrong? maybe they use sensors and the backboard lights up with a swish

I love the Western thinking about how there must be replay reviews, sensors and light systems and stuff. These people get a few ounces of meat like once a year maybe and if you say the wrong thing or are related to the wrong person they shoot you with 30mm anti-aircraft guns.

I don’t want more fouls.
In this country games would never end.
In North Korea...if you miss 2 free throws in a row you're shot.
And the first team with fewer than 5 players loses.
