For a touch of optimism before we put a bow on this turd burger of a season.

The last 6 games, we've held a double digit lead in the 2nd half. Won by double digits at home, melted down on the road, and barely held on at neutral site.

I know, I know, look at the opponents, and I know, I know, good teams win those games. But we know we're not a good team. Terrible teams never even build those leads in the first place.

If we don't beat ourselves, we can win tonight and at least make things a little interesting.

Or we'll get crushed and I'll pretend I never wrote this.

Cross post from FSU Post Game thread… it seems more appropriate here.

Syracuse brutally underused their number one transfer all season long. Lampkin is a physical mismatch against almost everybody in the NCAA. It’s another example of terrible offensive coaching that Lampkin is averaging only 8 shots a game.

Even against SMU, with their giant Turkish freshman, Lampkin is a physical mismatch and Yigitoglu fouled out in the first game.

After Yigitoglu, they have a bunch of shorter 235lb guys that should be no match for Lampkin. Yet Lampkin only took 4 shots, made three of them and took 6 FTs. Tonight he should take a lot more shots.

If history is made tonight (winning consecutive games in the ACC Tourney) well "I'll be dipped in chit!" And, I say, give that man (Red) an extension! I mean, regardless of the ACC being historically bad, Red would've accomplished in just year 2, what JB could never get accomplished in 11. ;):p

Did JB ever play on day one?

We're not a terrible team. That's Miami and BC. We're a bad team that has flashes of good play, long stretches of mediocrity, and just enough awfulness to lose more games than we win.

There's only 3 good teams in the ACC this season. We can hang with the rest of the vast sea of meh.

Knock down some 3s, play defense for a while, and hang on for dear life at the end. That's the way tonight.

Bell with 5 to 9 threes tonight. Book it.
Would love to see him have a good game. I just want to see him play hard. Battle on D and most importantly mix it up and fight for rebounds.

I guarantee we will not be crushed.

I'd take 9 3s over all of those things. I know who he is.
